To whom was the monument erected to the Belarusian woman? Gorky turns around. Note, associated with the monument

It had its own unique aura. One of them - Tverska Zastava Square close Belorussky railway station. As a result, there was a major overhaul - a more common road junction. The area was dug up, blocked off, but no further work was carried out.

Moscow motorists greeted Tverskaya Zastava with an unkind word: great cars accumulated here, which often blocked 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street and Leningradsky Prospekt, one of the main highways of the capital. The scheme of the collapse on the square in front of the Belorussky railway station was a tricky one.

It seemed that this life in the very center of Moscow would last forever. Once everything was destroyed from a dead center, robots began to work.

It seems that it happened so that I didn’t spend most of my time here. And when she passed, she was surprised that they had woken up. Tverskaya Zastava Square was transformed and became a garnish. I haven’t seen anything like this before.

High-rise buildings have grown up, and old monuments of architecture are destined to perish on the ashes.

I have already forgotten that if I was standing on the Maidan in front of the Belorussky railway station monument to Maxim Gorky.

The place for the monument was chosen unexpectedly. In 1921, Gorky emigrated from Radyanskaya Russia. The reason for leaving was the ideological opposition to the new government. However, the official version was the need to take care of the cordon (Bitter suffered from tuberculosis, which killed him). On May 28, 1928, Maxim Gorky turned to the Soviet Socialist Republic for a request from the Radyansky District and especially Stalin. It dawned on me: the life of the “stormman of the Revolution” behind the cordon seemed even more amazing. The train arrived at the Belorussky railway station. In the square in front of him, the famous scribe was already aware of the majestic attack.

The project of the monument to Maxim Gorky was created by the sculptor Ivan Dmitrovich Shadr and the architect Mikhail Osipovich Barshch back in 1939, but the installation was not carried out. After the death of Shadr in 1941, the monument project was completed by sculptor Vira Mukhina. In 1951, the birth of the family was established.

When the square of the Belorussky railway station, the tower of Tverska Zastava, was filled with a green patch. I remember them well: when I was a child, my fathers and grandparents often went to see their relatives. Then there were a lot of “green-eyed” taxis, and there was a smell of burning burning fire that you can’t confuse with any other.

It's the hour of the day. There were more cars. All the greenery gradually appeared, roads and parking lots appeared in their place. People scurried around with magnificent trunks, complaining.

In 2005, the monument to Maxim Gorky was dismantled across the road junction. Yogo was moved to Mystery Park Muzeon on Krimsky Val, after lying there for two years. After this term, a number of defects have developed, and a large crack has emerged. After all, they installed it there in a vertical position.

І axis through 12 rocks, 31 linya 2017 rock, the monument turned to the place. Of course, in the traffic of cars, the car does not look the same as before, but everything is the same. After the reconstruction, another important monument was installed on the square - a tram.

Thoughtfully marvel at Gorky at the side of Tverskaya Street (upper, 1st Tversko-Yamskaya Street, as it is correctly called here), then cross at Leningradsky Prospekt.

On the other side of the street, already on Butirsky Val, you can see the cars behind Old Believer Church of St. Mikoli the Wonderworker near Tverskaya Zastava. It was founded in 1914, in neo-Russian style. 1921 rock, after the revolution, there were consecrations. Today's wines were ruined by the ashes of today's business center "Bila Ploshcha".

When I was little, this temple seemed to me long ago. Standing there without heads or crosses, in the middle was located the masterworks of the art and textile factory.

Another iconic place near Moscow. I'll tell you about him another time.

The monument to Maxim Gorky was turned onto Tverskaya Zastava Square last night. The seven-meter monument stood here from 1951 to 2005. Then 12 years of service at the “sent” at Muzeon. We recommend reading the broadcast from bottom to top.

7:15 The monument to Maxim Gorky is planted on the pedestal, from which 12 fates were taken.

At night he was transported from Muzeon and installed on Tverskaya Zastava Square. All preventive work was carried out on the bronze sculpture: the surface was cleaned, the seams were filled, the patina was renewed. Additional work will be carried out immediately - after installing the sculpture on the pedestal. The stench is necessary in case of possible injuries during transportation.

2:35 Delivery of the monument to Tverska Zastava Square, together with journalists and workers, checking for the intercessor of the measure for housing and communal services and landscaping of Peter Biryukov.
“Speaking of this square, it will have a unique, essentially historical look: it will be connected by a tram to the street. Lisova, tram tracks will pass near the monument, about 90 great trees will be planted on the square, 22 pedestrian crossings will be built,” said Biryukov.

The intercessor measure is especially supportive, so that the entire central part of the place becomes accessible to pedestrians - “the historical appearance of the facades is turned, the darts are taken.”

2:12 Around the turning of the monument and the square, the project for the reconstruction of Tverskaya Zastava still has a lot of reception moments. The sidewalk near the Bilorussky railway station will be expanded to the size of the Maidan. And when you leave the city, you can immediately get into a taxi, without having to wait, as you have already done for a long time, you will cross the locality.

Get the parking lot in order. The chaotic parking area near a number of rows will be replaced by 111 cars. You can simply control it from the station under the overpass next to Aeroexpress.

On Bilyi Ploshcha, closer to Leningradsky Prospekt, there will be a park through which there will be a pedestrian route for train passengers and employees of offices on Bilyi Ploshcha. Just like that, continue the tunnel under the Tver Shliakhoprovod: make the dark corridor quieter, highlight it with color screens.

2:00 This is how the monument to Muzeon Maidan was erected. The monument has already been brought from the park to Tverska Zastava Square

01:20 Ozhe, the monument to Maxim Gorky has changed its registration. The monument was delivered to Tverska Zastava Square. Tse yogo misce.

This large-scale operation took only a few years. The sculpture was placed on a special car under heavy rain, and then a convoy of vehicles transported the monument to the center of the capital. Now he can take his place on the pedestal.

23:20 The attraction of the monument is hardly revealed at exactly 23:00. But suddenly during this evening it was raining and all the work happened again in an hourly manner
zupiniti. The influences of the capital's weather were perfect for testing the great classic.

23:15 Preparing a monument before transportation is a delicate and technically complex process.

23:10 Why did the 2005 monument end up at Muzeoni? Then on Tverskaya Zastava Square there was an underground parking lot, and above it, on the site of the monument, there was a shopping center. The project was not completed, but they forgot about the monument.

Why turn it around now? 2018 is marked by 150 fates commemorating Maxim Gorky's birthday. And in 2017, Tverska Zastava expanded its activities to the “My Street” program. The seven-meter monument (a five-meter sculpture and a two-meter pedestal) forms the main dominant feature of the square.

22:55 So, the ring must be turned exactly, and the network of tram routes for this plot will be developed after laying the slats. So far we only know how to let cars go.

22:25 The monument to Maxim Gorky is worth returning to Tverska Zastava before the fall. Next to the monument there will again be a square, crossed by a tram circle.

The sickle has lawns here. And for example, harvesting - to hang a tree on the cob of the chest. Around 90 linden and apple trees are in bloom around the monument of the coming summer. Trees should be planted in a specially prepared hole with fertile soil and drainage materials to ensure that water does not penetrate into the soil. Aeration tubes will run from the roots to the surface of the ground, which will help the trees die.

Along the perimeter of the park there will be a turning circle for the tram. It was cleaned up in 2008 when the restoration of Tverskaya Zastava Square began, but it was rather delayed.

22:15 The Muzeon is completing the preparation of the monument to Maxim Gorky before moving to Tverskaya Zastava. Roboti is suspended through the board. Robotniks watch for the right moment, so that the monument does not disappear at the moment of vantagement.

21:57 The most visible monument to the robot Mukhina, of course, is the monument “Robotnik and Colgospnitsa” (it’s true, I think that the faceted flask is visible).

In addition to the complex at VDNH, Vira Ignativna, the authorship of another dozen monuments in Moscow and other Russian places can be traced. In addition, Gorky has already been revealed, and a monument to P.I. Tchaikovsky at the Moscow Conservatory. The one on whose pedestal it is modestly written: “To the Great Russian Composer.”

In Moscow there is a monument to Mukhina herself. There are installations on the crossroads of Prechistenka and Prechistensky Provulka, near a small square. Budinok, on earth does the statue stand, designed in 1947 by Mukhina herself. A few rocks lived there until their death in 1953. The author of the monument is sculptor Mikhailo Anikushin.

21:40 And we guess that it’s close to 23:00 KamAZ with a five-ton bronze sculpture will destroy the Great Yakimanka, the Garden Ring and the First Brestskaya to Tverskaya Zastava Square. The car wears out seven kilometers in about a year. Please contact the police escort. The streets beyond the route were ordered not to be blocked.

21:35 Two words about those why Maxim Gorky burst into flames while standing (and standing) at the Bilorussky railway station.
Here the main Radian writer was interviewed in 1928, when he turned from Italy. Zagalom Gorky lived there for 15 years.
Perhaps the bronze Oleksiy Maksimovich Peshkov (named after Maxim Gorky) will marvel not at the station, but at Moscow. Gorky lived a short time after turning back to Russia. Through all the events, he died in 68 years.

21:30 The famous Vira Mukhina, the author of “The Worker and the Colgospnitsa”, has been working hard to create a monument to the writer of the Bilorussky railway station. In 1936, the family of the recently deceased Gorky planned to erect three monuments at once. Two in the city of Nizhny Novgorod, renamed Gorky from 1932 to 1990. And one in Moscow, where the writer traces the remaining fates of life.

Mukhina won the competition to design a monument near Nizhny. And the construction of the monument for the capital was entrusted to Ivan Shadr (the author of “Girls with an Oar”). Ale Shadr was not able to finish his work; he died in 1941. The project was created by Mukhina, who, of course, completely changed it.

As a result, Nizhny Novgorod costs one Gorky Mukhina, and Moscow costs two: the first one goes to the Belorussky railway station, the other goes to the Literary Institute named after Gorky on Povarskaya.

21:26 Before the speech, the monument to the same one on which he stood for 54 years stood. If the statue was evacuated 12 years ago to Muzeon, the monument’s mouth was sent to the Moscow region. And during the restoration, the facing slabs and blocks were found. “There are close to 220 blocks and slabs that are original,” Oleksiy Zhdanov, the lead architect for the restoration project at the Spadshchina mastermind, told the mos.ru website. In other words, more than a few blocks and 21 slabs were spent.

20:43 Before sending the monument to the Bilorussky railway station, restorers worked on it for several months. When the 2005 bronze Gorky was brought to Muzeon, they simply put it there. And so I lay there for two years. In 2007, the bronze sculpture was placed vertically. Shortly after the war, defects already appeared on it: the most serious - a crack on the left side.

From the end of the grass, the monument was cleaned. The cracks and holes were patched. Then they strengthened the frame and fastening reinforcement. The top was coated with a chemical compound that protects against corrosion.

20:15 Before moving the monument to the classics, I will carry out preventive measures again.

"The bronze sculpture has undergone all preventive work related to cleaning of obstructions, updating seams, and renewing patina. After installing the sculpture on the pedestal, additional work must be carried out that may be related to and with damage during transport,” explained the head architect restoration project. Spadshchina" Oleksiy Zhdanov.

20:10 Erecting a monument to robotics seems to belong to important minds. Until early Monday, the capital is expected to reach a quarter of the monthly norm of rainfall.
There will be heavy winds, thunderstorms, and hail in places, which pleased Roshydromet.

20:02 While the robot workers are finishing up the important vantage (guessingly, in 2005 the monument to rock was transported on two great self-skids), let’s take some dry numbers. The route from Muzeon to Tverska Zastava Square is 7.1 km. The weight of the monument is 5 tons. The height of the walls is approximately 5 meters (height without the pedestal), the edges are 2 meters.

The monument to Maxim Gorky was created by sculptor Ivan Shadr in 1939. The project was completed in 1951 by Vira Mukhina. The monument was erected at the Bilorussky railway station. However, in 2005, if there was a transport connection on the square, it had to be dismantled. Once the monument was removed, the term of its return to its rightful place was taken away.

The great writer will return to his historical place within the framework of the “My Street” beautification program, which started on Chervna Square. Up to 20 lindens are here to secure the stone blocks to the pedestal, as well as the stones that lead to the monument. In addition, half of the restored granite blocks were delivered to the Belorussky railway station.

The monument to Maxim Gorky was erected in 1951 near the square opposite the Bilorussky railway station. Bronze Gorky remembers about the day in 1928, when Muscovites gathered at the station after returning from Italy, where the writer rejoiced for a long time.

After the death of the writer in 1936, people praised three monuments to him: two in Malaya Batkivshchina, in Nizhny Novgorod, and one near Moscow, where the writer is alive and has done the rest of his life. The competition had two projects: Viri Mukhina for a local writer and one for the capital. Shadr was not able to complete the project; he died in 1941. Everything that he managed to create - a meter-long sculptural model and a portrait of a writer, carved from clay, was handed over to Virya Mukhina, the author of “The Worker and the College Hospital.” modernized the Shadra project and began creating a monument to the famous writer near Moscow.

Mukhina worked on the monument project with special attention, and she knew Gorky especially: since he helped his people. Then the writer addressed her with the enmity of the “giant”, “even a great man, as he already knows.”

Mukhina wanted to show Gorky modest, in a rough suit, dirty shoes and with his hair pulled back. She always reinforced the greatness of the new figure, as she spoke to the sculptor, and was one of the fundamental elements of Gorky’s worldly understanding. This is Gorky's summer, wise man's coat, which drapes over the reed.

16 Breast 2005 rock seven-meter bronze Gorky at once from the p'edestal of watering with a crane, anchoring into two large self-skids and evacuations. There were rumors that it was decided to move the monument in order to create a place on the square near the shopping center and elite residential buildings. Fortunately, the project was never implemented.

The bottoms of the writer, Marfa and Darya Peshkova, noted that in 2005 they had not nourished anyone, as the stink was set before the monument was dismantled. The Peshkovs said they could smell the smell like everyone else on TV.

The monument was placed at the current time near the Muzeon Mystery Park on the Krimskaya Embankment. Initially, the statue simply lay in the sky, although in 2007 it was decided to place it vertically. After a period of repeated work, the “lying down” person was dismantled and defects appeared on the monument: the most serious one was a crack on the left side.

Until the 870th century in Moscow, the monument to Maxim Gorky was erected on Tverskaya Zastava Square, thereby reinventing the appearance of the city. Nina, near the technical area of the “Museon”, the sculpture is prepared before the “moving”: the surface was cleaned to remove debris and corrosion products. The restorers identified defects on the surface of the metal: cracks, porosity, and open holes. Before installing the monument, strengthen the frame and reinforcement, and also trim the surface. The bronze sculpture of the scribe is covered with a preservative that protects it from natural spills.

Pushkin emerging from the monastery

The monument to Alexander Pushkin on the same square is also not immediately in the wrong place. The idea of erecting a monument to the “son of Russian poetry” dates back to the death of Pushkin in 1837 and continued for 43 years. The Lyceumists of the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, in which he sings during his youth, begged the authorities to allow the date for the installation of the monument; Having entered the camp, he graduated from the Yakov Grot Lyceum, who until 1875 received 106 thousand. rubles

After collecting funds, a competition was announced for the largest monument to Pushkin. I will be able to obtain a sculptor who will continue the next five fates together with the architect Ivan Bogomolov, preparing a model of the statue, molding it at the bronze casting plant near St. Petersburg and creating a granite pedestal.

The monument was planned to be erected near the Riverside Lyceum on June 19, 1879. However, through the destruction of one of the elements of the pedestal, they sacredly moved it to May 26, 1880 - the day of the People's Sing. Alya Travneva, as a saint, also had a chance to complain through a complaint to the Empress Maria Oleksandrivna.

Bronze Pushkin appeared on Tverskoy Boulevard in 1880. Following the predictions of the day's observers, on the day of the unveiling of the monument, a crowd of townsfolk and large crews of honored guests (Turgenev and Dostoevsky were present) flocked to the square of the Pristrasny Monastery. Next to the monument on poles stood white shields, on which the names of the poet’s works were embossed in gold.

Muscovites bought all the convoys and violets from traders, with which the stench had been scattered over the monument's pedestal for years.

The monument to Pushkin was erected in front of the Strasnoy Monastery: it seemed that the singer was bowing his head in front of the shrine’s altar. In 1937, the monastery was destroyed: then the authorities thought about the reconstruction of Tverskaya Street and the removal of the monument to Pushkin. After the war, the project was abandoned until 1950.

A public garden appeared in the vicinity of the Pristrasny Monastery: they planned to erect a monument to the poet and turn it 180 degrees.

They moved the 11-meter Pushkin at night from 13 to 14 sickles. The monument was placed on slats and moved 104 meters behind the help of two ten-ton road forgings. The speed of the roc was about a meter per khvilina.

Intrigued Muscovites kept watch over the majestic statue all night. The jewelry process took nearly six years.

Just as Pushkin used to stand with his head bowed in front of the domes of the Strasny Monastery, today he stands at the place of the erected clink. In addition, for every hour there was a statue of a ballerina standing on the floor of the bed of the sick one, through which the wake chanted “The booth under the back”, and sings, apparently, in its place the sky turns into a “stray.”

From the very beginning on the pedestal there were hung rows from the top of the song “Monument”. Pushkin, who worked on the posthumous collection of works, through the tsar’s censorship, had the opportunity to replace the line “That in my bitter century I glorified Freedom” with the more loyal one - “That with the beauty of the living tops I became brown.” On the centenary of Pushkin’s death, it was decided to replace the censored text with the original one. The old lines were cut down, and the outdated grammar was replaced with modern ones.

Gogol is fun and Gogol is sumny

In 1880, under the hour of purity, due to the discovery of the monument to Pushkin, the Moscow intelligentsia came up with the idea of erecting a monument to Mykolya Gogol. The Association of Lovers of Russian Literature organized a collection of treasures. The patron donated the first penny: he contributed 5 thousand. rubles and agreed to take on the supply of honey.

When the capital reached 70 thousand. rubles, the literary and scientific partnership launched a competition for the best design of the monument and began to select its installation in Moscow. 44 monument projects took part in the competition: the robots were exhibited in the Historical Museum.

At the meeting of the Committee for the erection of the monument to Gogol on the 13th of 1906, it was announced: “... do not impose authority on the new competition, but entrust the completed project to the sculptor Andreev, without tying him with the same minds, but in a good way.” The sculptor portrayed the famous writer as doubtful, spiritually empty, having lost faith in his creativity. The architect has prepared an extraordinary pedestal, decorated with bas-reliefs like characters from Gogol’s works. Zokrema, the image of the Mayor, the architect “wrote” s.

The first monument to Mikola Gogol was erected near Moscow in 1909 on Prechistensky Boulevard, which was later renamed Gogolovsky. Through the neighboring Arbat Square, Gogol “often went straight to the Church of St. Savi, then on Divoche Field to his friend Pogodin.”

The urochist program for the restoration of the monument lasted three days. On the day of the unveiling of the monument, there was a lot of activity in schools. The magazine “Historical Bulletin” reported that “On this famous day, Moscow is far from looking like a small one... Without even mentioning the ensigns on the buildings, what to wear, on the streets there was a celebration of the kind that usually happens on the days of great national festivities.”

While there was a lot of joy in the discovery of the monument, not everyone enjoyed Andreev’s sculpture. The Suchasniki called the monument “Kazhan” and “Crow”. The artist stated that “for Andreev there is no mercy” for those who depicted him as “dying, which the deadly ace sees everything he has saved.” At that time, there were feelings that the creative intelligentsia had little intention of opening the subscription and ruining the fuss about replacing the monument with another one. And the axis of Radyansky power, which arrived in 1917, was pleased with the image of N.V. Gogol on the boulevard. At the mournful post of the poet, the stench reeked of “the victim of the tsarist regime.”

The monument stood on Prechistensky Boulevard 42 rocks. In the 1930s, Rocky published material in which she criticized the monument and stated that it was inspired by the image of Gogol and interpreted him as a pessimist and mysticism.

In one version, Josip Stalin did not like the “sorrowful” Gogol, who was staring at his eyes on the road from Chervonoya Ploshcha to Kuntsevskaya Dacha.

In 1951, the monument was decided to be quickly taken to the Museum of Architecture, built on the territory of the Don Monastery. At that time the place was called a warehouse for reminders that did not please the party. The remainder of the construction of the temple, as well as bas-reliefs from the Triumphal Gates, were kept there.

The intelligentsia demanded the installation of a new monument. It was announced that on the 2nd of March 1952, on the anniversary of the death of the writer, a new monument to the writer appeared on Gogol Boulevard. In the new Gogol there are images of a smiling, cheerful person. The sculpture was created by the famous monumentalist Mykola Tomsky. His work fit the concept of “believe in the bright future,” as propagated by the Radyan ruler. The sculptor himself stated that the monument to Gogol is his most recent project.

In 1959, the first monument to Gogol was removed from the “warehouse” and installed in the courtyard of Count Alexander Tolstoy’s large garden on Nikitsky Boulevard, in which Mikola Gogol lived through the last fates of life.

Two monuments, created by Andreev and Tomsky, stood side by side at a distance of less than 400 meters on either side of Arbatskaya Square. The images of the Russian writer are contrasting, the fragments of sculptors created monuments at an hour. The Moscow singer Lev Ozerov described the blowing of two “Gogols” on the Arbat in the following way: “Merry Gogol is on the boulevard, sad Gogol is in the yard.”

Last Monday there was a celebration on the Tverskaya Zastava Square in Belarus. Near the light of the spotlight, like on a stage in a theatre, the faucet pulled out the ropes of a slimy person. A five-meter figure, coats that are “developing”, and branded tastes. Bronze Maxim Gorky turned on the spot, de Prov_v podvstolіttya.

This reminder marks the beginning of history. Here, on Belorussky, the famous writer arrived in 1928 from his other Italian emigration. There are thousands of thousands of people here. A sea of flowers, interspersed with splashes of language. And then, as they sang to the end, Maxim Gorky was carried almost in their arms through Tverskaya - to the apartment of his squad, where he stood up. In 1951, at the site of that famous meeting, a monument to the work of Vera Mukhina was erected. In this place, the sculpture of the writer stood until 2005. At Tverskaya Zastava they planned to build a shopping center with underground parking lots, the axis is small. The monument was taken to Muzeon Park. And the shopping center never came to fruition.

On the square of the Belorussky railway station there was now a public garden, behind the “My Street” program, with lawns, paths, shelters, and benches. And the monument to Gorky should be placed near its central part.

The bronze sculpture began to be prepared before the move, back near the grass. The fates took their toll: a crack appeared on the left hand of the monument. The fakhivians patched up and strengthened the frame.

Before the speech, the most famous original two-meter pedestal made of granite. The facing slabs and blocks were transported to the Moscow region, and now they have turned back.

Zagalom - about 220 original blocks and slabs, - like Oleksiy Zhdanov, the head architect of the project of the restoration master "Spadshchina", which is renovating the pedestal.

In the evening a crane was delivered to Muzeon. The five-meter-long scribe was secured, lifted and carefully placed on its back in the on-board KAMAZ. The planks are dirty. According to weather forecasters, the whole world is angry and the center of Moscow is on its side. Well, thank God. Vantazhivka slowly walked through the night streets of Moscow: Velika Yakimanka, Garden Ring, 1-a Brestska.

The road took about twenty miles, says the water from the tap. - We went with an escort. In front of us is a traffic police car with flashing lights, and behind us is another one.

The monument arrived at Tverskaya Zastava close to the first anniversary of the night. Having continued to fade away for a long time, we didn’t let the robotics know any special incompetences. Under the guns of cameras and cameras, the talented writer was installed in a historical place.

Near the slabs of the foothills of Gorky in the forests. Budivelniki are engaged in lining. As it turns out, already 1 sickle the monument will stand in all its glory. And in a month or so this square will be owned.

MEAL OF THE DAY

What monument is not yet erected near Moscow?

Sergiy SHARGUNOV, Derzhdumi deputy, writer:

Valentin Kataev, Yuriy Olesha, Ilf and Petrov - these writers deserve to be present at the Clean Bets. The stench lingers there, it was her apartment. All the people of the original Russian literature came there. Let's cover that there is no monument to him. You can still guess Ivan Bunin and Volodymyr Nabokov.

Vitaly TRETYAKOV, Dean of the Higher School of Television, MDU:

So many great people lived and worked near the capital that the whole of Moscow could be covered with monuments. And I want to get rid of the forgetfulness! The first one from whom we need to start is Ivan the Third. Under the new regime, the Kremlin was re-established. He strengthened the Moscow state. This is where Russia begins to emerge as a European power after the influx of the Golden Horde emerges.

Volodimir SOLOV'EV, TV presenter:

Oh, I didn’t get too excited about this topic. Otherwise, we begin to fight against monuments, and then fight for their return - it’s all crazy. This food must be trusted in order. Otherwise, give people free rein, through them there will be Ivan the Terrible and Stalin. Nina is fashionable. And this is a very subtle point that is not to be taken seriously.

Volodymyr VINOKUR, parodist:

The Great Theater is worth Karl Marx. I would move it to the Mausoleum, closer to Lenin. And in this place I placed Yuri Dovgoruky. So, we have a monument to the founder of Moscow, but it may be in the very center of the place.

Mykola SVANIDZE, historian:

I think academician Andriy Sakharov. Not all laurels go to commanders. These are the wonderful people, and the glory of Russia was achieved not only by war, but also by the thinkers. Sakharov stood up to the honor of the country with his heart. Vіn is not the father’s water bomb, but the founder of the Radyansky right-wing movement.

Yuriy PIVOVAROV, Doctor of Political Sciences:

So, Gorky decided to join forces with the Bolsheviks, but it was amazing to me that they were cleaning him up. Still, you have earned more of the good and less of the bad. I will tell you who monuments cannot be erected to: Stalin, Lenin, Dzerzhinsky and Sverdlov. But there is no memory of the Russian philosopher Yuri Samarin. Few people know about him. Ale, behind this idea, in the 19th century, strongmen were released.

Anatoly VASSERMAN, publicist:

All memorials from “Museon” need to be turned to the right place. This is Stalin, and Dzerzhinsky. People are honored with glory for their great services to the country. And since today it is fashionable to shout out their achievements, then this fashion will pass.
