Svidrigailov is a deputy landowner who knows an empty way of life. Svidrigailiv the man and the huge man became poor. Sink into the new cynicism with which the essence of Raskolnikov’s idea is formulated, having become comfortable with Rodion’s confusion, having lost the grip of boundless cunning. Ale, having misused himself, ends his life in self-destruction. Luzhin is a business person with his “economic theories.” This theory is based on the true exploitation of people, and it is motivated by the benefits of economic growth, and it contrasts with Raskolnikov’s theory of selfless intentions. And although the theory of one and the other leads to the idea that one can “shed blood according to one’s conscience,” Raskolnikov’s motives are noble, suffered by the heart, it is not just a breakdown that collapses, but a pardon, “clouded by the mind.”

Luzhin is a straightforward and primitive person. Vin – decreases, perhaps a comical double, equalized with Svidrigailov. In the last century, the minds of rich people were dominated by the theory of “Napoleonism” - the ability of strong specialness to rule over the shares of other people. The hero of the novel, Rodion Raskolnikov, became the champion of this idea. The author of the work, trying to depict the immoral idea of ​​the main character, shows its utopian result in the images of “doubles” - Svidrigailova and Luzhina.
