To be honest, I feel like there wasn’t much that was new to me. Let’s just say a few words about the reasons that prompted me to write this.

The decision to publish a book about the coup d'etat in 2014 came almost immediately after the Maidan revolution. Before us, there were deep and complex reasons that led my country to a crooked scenario, to this tragedy, which destroyed the constitutional order of the state of Ukraine. Just recently I realized that I was in an unsatisfied sense that I was not able to go so calmly into a conscientious mood. And in the absence of a situation of overwhelming force in the rest of the Republic of Poland, as lawyers say, they decided to stop at any moment, look back, try to systematize and rethink all those ideas that tragically changed not those only my share, and the share of millions of people in my Fatherland.

I think that the colossal tectonic destruction that took place in Ukraine in 2013–2014 cannot be accepted except by internal Ukrainian affairs. The causes and forces of these upheavals go beyond the boundaries of the national power of Ukraine.

I have always wondered why people at every stage tend to exchange their thoughts, thoughts and thoughts about life on paper. I have had a lot of conversations with Russian and European journalists, politicians, and large-scale figures, and have always sensed a slight interest and anxiety in the hour of discussing the causal links between the powers.
